Pupilux

The pupillary light reflex is among the oldest bedside neurological checks and still one of the most telling. In most settings it is graded by eye and written down as a subjective note. Pupilux turns an ordinary iPhone into a quantified pupillometer: a seven-second capture returns a bilateral measurement that can be recorded, compared, and tracked over time.

It is built for the clinicians who lean on that signal most — intensivists and emergency physicians making fast neurological judgements without a dedicated device to hand. Pupilux is in alpha; the live site is the current front door, and a fuller account of the method will follow as it matures.
